Arts and Letters
Students at Limestone College can pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio art. The various courses and disciplines that are offered include crafts, painting, graphic design, print making, drawing, ceramics, art history and photography.
The division of Arts and Letters also offers programs in art, English or foreign language, history, music, religion and philosophy, theatre, natural science, professional studies, social and behavioral science and interdisciplinary studies.
Natural Science
The division of natural science presents students an opportunity to study biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics and science. Majors and minors are available to students. Majors offered include biology chemistry, computer science and mathematics while the minors offered are biology, chemistry, computer science Internet management, computer science e-business, computer science software applications and mathematics.
Professional Studies and Social and Behavioral Science
Students are provided an opportunity to study business administration, economics, education, human resource management, physical education, athletic training and sports management at the Professional Studies division.
The division of Social and Behavioral Science offers degrees in criminal justice, political science, psychology, social work, sociology, international studies and military science.
Programs at Limestone College
There are 24 majors are offered at Limestone College and students can decide on programs based on individual qualifications and requirements. Classes are also offered through the extended campus program that helps many working adults complete their college education.
The extended campus offers a total of five majors at the associate degree level and 19 majors at the bachelor level. Limestone was a pioneer in offering educational opportunities for adults who are working. Students can choose to attend the degree program in the evening or on weekends based on their needs. Individual attention is provided to all students to help them identify their strengths and weakness and further their careers.
