How to Dye Slime Mold With Food Coloring

For various reasons, kids like slime. Though they may think it is "gross" or "icky," the gooey substance often fascinates them. Though it is not healthy for children to cultivate or handle real slime, due to bacteria and sanitation issues, it is possible for them to take part in making their own slime mold. They can also change its color by adding food coloring to the mixture. Using only a few materials, parents can help kids make their own slimy solution at home or at school.
