Instructions
Turn the center knob counterclockwise or clockwise to move the primary, black hand to your current elevation.
Place the barometer in a location where the center knob won't be knocked or accidentally moved.
Check the barometer periodically, roughly every 15 to 30 minutes, by lightly tapping the glass to make sure the linkage mechanism isn't sticking and reading the secondary, red indicator hand.
Observe the direction the red hand moves to determine the current trend in air pressure. It moves to the right of the black hand if air pressure is high and rising; it moves to the left if air pressure is low and declining.
Adjust the center knob as your elevation changes to keep an accurate air pressure reading.
