How to Thin Liquid Paper

Liquid Paper (liquidpaper.com), also called correction fluid, is an indispensable office and school supply that is used to correct minor errors on documents. However, Liquid Paper does not always keep its consistency after being opened. A bottle of Liquid Paper may thicken, becoming clumpy. If it can't be applied smoothly, the Liquid Paper is useless. Fortunately, it's fairly simple to thin Liquid Paper using commonly available solvents. The easiest solvent to use for thinning Liquid Paper is nail polish remover.

     Fill an eye dropper with a small amount of nail polish remover.

     Unscrew the cap of your Liquid Paper and dispense a few drops of nail polish remover from the eye dropper into the bottle.

     Screw the cap back on the Liquid Paper and shake well.

     Test the consistency of the Liquid Paper using the applicator brush in its lid. If it is still too thick, add a few more drops of nail polish remover and repeat until it has the desired consistency.
