How to Fix a Talking Watch

A talking watch allows the wearer to know the time without having to glance at his or her wrist. To fix the "voice" so that it says the same time as displayed by the minute and second hands, adjust the voice time settings. The procedure is straightforward and does not require the use of any tools.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull out the stem of the watch, using your fingers. Rotate the stem to cause the minute hand to revolve clockwise. Stop rotating the stem when the hour hand and the minute hand have been set to the correct time. Push the stem back into the watch.

    • 2

Press the "S3" labeled button on the side of the talking watch once. Repeat this procedure if the "Set time" text does not illuminate on the watch.

    • 3

Press the "S4" labeled button on the side of the talking watch repeatedly until you hear the voice say the hour that the hour hand is set to.

    • 4

Press the "S2" button repeatedly until you hear the voice say the minute that the minute hand is set to.

    • 5

Wait 15 seconds before pressing the "S3" button once. Repeat this procedure if you still see the "Set time" text on the watch's face.
