How to Find Your Attitude Number in Numerology

The premise behind the occult science of numerology is that everything in the universe can be reduced to numbers. Every number is associated with a distinct quality or vibe. Even your name and your birth date can be reduced to different numerical values. These values supposedly provide some insight into your general character, your life's destiny and the challenges you will face as you move through life, among other things. What's referred to as your "attitude number" reflects your general disposition and outlook on life. Your attitude number is calculated from part of your birth date.

     Write down the month and day of your birth date.

     For example: September 25

   • 2

     Rewrite the date in numerical format.

     For example: 9 / 25

   • 3

     Add together all of the numbers in your birth date.

     For example: 9 + 2 + 5 = 16

   • 4

     Reduce the sum calculated in Step 3 to a single digit number (if applicable). This is accomplished by adding together the individual digits that make up the sum. The result is your attitude number in numerology.

     For example: 1 + 6 = 7

     In this example therefore, it is demonstrated that someone born on the 25th of September has a numerological attitude number of seven.
