How to Develop Your Seer Gift

Meditate daily, for 20 minutes in the morning and again at night before you go to sleep. Use meditation to clear your mind. Don't judge your thoughts; only observe them. Listen to your breath and follow the flow of your breathing in and out. Try to reach and maintain a mental state in which you are not thinking or commenting, but are totally present.

Master protective mantras and visualizations. You must know how to protect your own energy from negativity before using your gift. As you develop it further, you make yourself sensitive and vulnerable to the energy of others. Negative forces like violence, hate, anger and jealousy can harm you if you are ill prepared to protect yourself. Visualize a giant sparkling mirrorball of light surrounding you, repelling any dark force that may try to enter your sphere. Learn prayers and mantras calling archangels like Michael to your aid.

Hone your visualization skills. Spend time each day visualizing vivid colors. If you have trouble with this, spend a few moments looking at colored paper and do the visualization again. Once you can imagine the colors, begin visualizing different-colored objects around you. When you have mastered visualizing colors, begin work on visualizing auras. Auras are light energy fields that surround every living being and emanate different colors based on the being's spirit. Look at people and allow yourself to see the color of the aura around their heads. Do not tell anyone what you are doing because they may question and challenge you. Protect your practice by keeping it to yourself so you don't have to explain or defend your actions. Over time, you will become adept at seeing the color of people's aura.

Join a spiritual support group. Spiritual centers and organizations offer lectures and classes about the gift of prophecy. Research spiritual groups in your area and visit them. Audit one of their meetings or classes. If you feel comfortable around the people and their energy, join them and attend meetings regularly. Being around others who are spiritually in tune and open to what you want to achieve will help you develop your gift, especially if you are under the tutelage of someone you respect.

Acknowledge the progress you're making. Developing your gift is a gradual process that occurs in small increments at a time. You will slowly become more aware and sensitive to the energy around you and in others. Pay attention to the small improvements in your prophetic development in a spirit of gratitude.
