Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut the round edges off of 15 craft sticks so they all have flat edges. Cut 10 of the sticks in half evenly. Set those aside and keep the other five sticks intact.
Take two of the long sticks and angle them together to make an upside-down "V" shape. Set them so they balance on each other and are even on the tip.
Apply super glue to the tip of the sticks to attach them together. Hold the sticks until the glue dries. Apply extra glue to fill the gap and make the top even.
Make a matching upside-down "V" shape with two more long sticks. Hold them together until the glue dries. These will be referred to as the "ladder sides" in future steps.
Place half a craft stick across the top of one ladder side. Line up the other ladder side so that the half stick goes across it evenly. Once lined up, apply super glue underneath the stick and apply it to form the basic ladder shape.
Glue on the steps of the ladder. The stick will hold four ladder legs. Glue the flat edge of a ladder leg across the bottom of the ladder on the side that faces outward. Repeat this on both sides so there are four evenly glued steps on the outside of the sticks.
Use the remaining half sticks to match the steps on the inside of the ladder. This will add more stability. Wait for the super glue to dry completely.
Rip off small strips of colored duct tape. Choose your preferred color.
Wrap the strips of duct tape around all the sections of the ladder. Leave the very bottom parts exposed so that the ladder will still stand even. Press down the tape and smooth it out to remove any air bubbles.
