General Features
The Robosapien V2 possesses remote control, (where the user controls it directly), autonomous free roam (where it roams around as it pleases) and guard (reacting to outside interferences) modes. In all, it has 100 pre-programmed functions and two different demonstration modes. It is equipped with sleep and auto-off functions.
Functions
The Robosapien V2 has sight, sound and touch sensors. It is equipped with a Color Vision System, which is able to recognize colors and skin tones. It has a Stereo Sound Detection System, which "hears" sounds. The robot also possesses speech capability and responds verbally to environmental stimuli and controller commands. The Robosapien V2 has IR Vision, which detects and avoids obstacles and enables it to track moving objects. It has true bi-pedal body movement with multiple gaits and precision-gripping, articulated fingers. In all, it can achieve humanoid movements, including bending, sitting, standing, lying down, dancing and waving.

The Robosapien V2 kit, aside from the robot itself, includes the following components: a remote controller, a bowling ball, three red bowling pins and an instruction manual.

The Robosapien V2 requires six D alkaline batteries, and seven AAA batteries (not included). It has an overall length of 22 inches, a height of 15 inches and a width of 13 inches, and weighs 8 pounds.
