Instructions
Locate Optimus Prime's sternum, which is in the middle of his chest plate. Slide the sternum plate down and push the windows on his chest plate together.
Rotate the beam attached to the bottom of the arm 180-degrees backward. Fold up Optimus Prime's hand, bringing all of the fingers toward his palm and rotating his thumb inside the hand.
Pull back and bring down the set of wheels at the back of his legs. They should be almost to the bottom of the model's legs. Pull the legs backward to about a 30-degree angle and gently pull the legs down and out of the body. There should be a U-shaped prong loose on the model. Stand the model back on its feet.
Fold the arms straight up against the shoulders of the model. Tuck the hands into the shoulder and cap them with the shoulder cap.
Flip the front fender out. It is tucked into the back of the model. Unfold the kneecap.
Rotate the shoulder panel on the back of the model so that the front fender comes around the front of the model, ahead of the chest plate.
Unfold the arm beam to a 90-degree angle, and then fold the arm backward, so that it uncovers the side door of the cab. Rotate the model and repeat on the other side to get the cab set in its closed position. Pull the kneecap panels down so that they nearly touch the toes.
Lift the wheels at the front and back upward, so that they line up and create the bottom of the truck. Fold the front bumper straight, and then rotate it so that it sits straight across the front of the vehicle. Rotate the toes so that they lie flat across the top of the hood.
Lift the top of the hood so that it creates a flat panel. These pieces were the knees on the model in robot mode. Fold the fenders inward so that they are smooth against the nose of the truck. Push the two halves of the truck front together so that they close the gap.
Reverse this process to return Optimus Prime to his robot form.
