Mega Bloks NEO Shifter Instructions

The Mega Bloks "Neo Shifter" collection is a series of action figures divided into two teams, the Templars and the Paladins. These figures transform from a basic ball form into an standing figure, and inside these larger characters is a small driver who also balls up to drive his larger companion. These characters are fairly similar to each other, with major differences being their weapons and color schemes. There is also a Neo Shifters game online where the characters come to life in ferocious battle.

Instructions

  1. Assembly

    • 1

Assemble the driver out of the small body parts. Attach the head to the small torso. Connect the arms and legs to the torso, and place the hands and feet on the respective limbs. Set the character aside.

    • 2

Plug the main head into the main torso piece. Attach the face mask to the front of the head and the back plate to the back of the torso. The front of the torso has a hole into which your small character can fit.

    • 3

Attach a short tube onto the pegs on one of the shoulder pieces. Repeat with the other shoulder, and attach these to the torso.

    • 4

Clip the H-shaped pair of fingers onto one of the hand pieces. The hand has two fingers attached to each other. This creates a hand which can grip the weapon. Repeat with the other hand. Plug the hands into the wrist pieces and attach the wrists to the ends of the shoulders.

    • 5

Attach the Y-shaped codpiece to the front of the hip piece. Connect the hip to the bottom of the torso.

    • 6

Plug a long tube onto the two pegs on a thigh piece. Attach a thigh guard on the front of this piece. Plug both of these into the hips.

    • 7

Assemble the shin guards using the hooks and the shin guard pieces. Attach these guards to a shin piece. Make two units and attach them to the ends of the legs.

    • 8

Build the feet. Attach an ankle joint to the top of the foot pieces. Attach a heel guard to the front of a heel piece, then join the two units together. Make two feet and attach them to the bottom of the legs. Your Neo Shifter should now be able to stand.

    • 9

Use a pin to attach one of the propeller projectiles to the back of a ball side piece. These are the pieces which make up the sides of the ball when the character is in ball mode. Make two of these units and join them with the rope by slipping the loops through the teardrop shaped holes in the side panels.

    • 10

Clip both side pieces into the corresponding clips on the back of the model. Attach the back panel on the torso above these pieces.

    • 11

Push the driver popper unit into the torso. Wrap the back rope through this piece.

    • 12

Attach a second back plate to the bottom of the torso. Clip the folding shoulder accents to the top of the model.

    • 13

Plug the two pistols into the sides of the main gun and plug the main gun onto the wrist.

    Folding the Models

    • 14

Fold the driver's feet back and rotate the legs up to the shoulders. Bend the wrists back and spin the arms around to make the driver into a ball.

    • 15

Push the driver into the chest cavity.

    • 16

Fold the feet up and straighten the legs. Place the main gun between the angles and clip it into place. Fold the arms up so the hands touch the shoulders.

    • 17

Spin the hips and fold the legs up to form a round shape. The pegs on the feet should fit into the holes on the wrists.

    • 18

Flip the two side panels in so they click into place. Your Neo Shifter is now in ball mode. To return to robot mode, follow these steps in reverse.
