Advertise your available collection items on "Star Wars" fan sites and forums. Ensure that you meet the forums rules for advertising before placing an ad in the wrong forum. Most "Star Wars" communities have a special forum for listing and trading items. Read the terms of service carefully before posting.
List your collection on Ebay. List the pieces separately. Do a search on completed items by logging in and using the ̶0;Advanced Search̶1; feature. By browsing the completed items, you can see what price your items are likely to sell for and study the wording of the items that brought a better final bidding price.
Call comic book stores and other collectible shops and ask the owner what she will offer you for your collection. These stores must make a profit on these items, so you will be taking substantially less for your collection than if you sold directly to a collector. You may also inquire with the shop about consigning your items. Like selling to the shop, the owner will receive a cut of the profit. Ensure that you fully understand the terms before signing any contracts.
List your collection on classified sites such as Craigslist. Stand firm on your prices and ready your email box for spam. While there are definitely cons to selling on Craigslist or other similar sites, you can find interested buyers. Set your prices high in the beginning to leave yourself some bargaining room, as many buyers will want to haggle before settling on a final purchase price.
Familiarize yourself with your collection̵7;s value. Many online sites and guides exist that give you up to date values on individual collectibles. Understand grading conditions as well as variations in packaging and manufacturing, which may make your collectible worth more than it appears to be upon first glance.
