How to Transform Optimus Prime

Fold down and remove the exhaust pipes from the side of the truck. Leave the red truck parts that connect these gray pipes to the body of the vehicle.

Lean the main part of the truck cab back towards the rear tires to form the lower body of the robot. Fold out the feet and separate the legs. Flip the panels that guard the "shins" of the robot up into place.

Unlatch the hands and arms from the underbody of the truck, and rotate them up so that they are parallel to the rear of the truck cab. Push these arms into place as the shoulders of the robot. Rotate the forearms to put the hands in the correct position in relation to the body.

Fold the front of the truck back revealing the head of Optimus Prime. Pull the hood of the truck out and then fold it up into a more compact form on Prime's back, forming his power pack.

Insert the exhaust pipes into Optimus Prime's hands, creating his weapons. The toy comes with two missiles, one for each cannon. Insert the missiles into each of the guns, and press the black latch to fire.
