Instructions

    • 1

Take a regular aluminum cookie sheet and fill carefully with water.

    • 2

Place the cookie sheet in the freezer on a level surface.

    • 3

Let the water freeze for a couple of hours. Near the end of this time, kids can dress their dolls (skirts are good) and figures in warm winter clothes and scarves. They can even make scarves by cutting narrow strips of fabric. Little boots can be used for skates, but of course the action figures are powerful enough not to need any boots.

    • 4

Remove the cookie sheet from freezer. The water should be frozen solid. If there are any gaps or low points, these can be part of the sporty fun.

    • 5

Prop the sheet on the kitchen table, kitchen floor or patio and let the kids skate their figures around the ice and even do tricks. A ramp may be fun. Let the skating party begin.
