Instructions
Inspect your Star Wars action figure, such as Princess Leia as Boushh 12-inch figure. Examine the figure for costume tears or fading and ensure you still have all accessories such as her helmet and gun. You should still be able to pose her limbs and they should be tight.
Assign a grade, C-1 to C-10, to the Star Wars figure. This scale goes up by half points; for example, a figure in good condition might be graded C-7 or C-7.5. To have the Princess Leia professionally graded, pack her in bubble wrap and packing peanuts and ship her to the Action Figure Association where they assign a grade, an ID number and seal her if the figure is loose.
Find other Star Wars figures online at auctions or toy dealers to compare pricing of figures in comparable condition. Toy trade shows are another place to find Star Wars action figures and to find appraisers for your figure.
Use the information regarding condition and other figures to set the price of your Star Wars action figure. After you've set the price for a few figures, determining a value and pricing the Star Wars action figures becomes easier.
