How to Dodge a Nerf Dart

Gone are the days when Nerf was known just for footballs. In the 21st century, the Hasbro brand offers a range of dart guns and paraphernalia that let the players design a custom Nerf gun armory. The dart tag options include the Dart Tag Fury Fire that holds 10 darts in its pump and advances automatically or the Dart Tag Hyperfire that has darts that stick to the targets on your opponent's vest. Since points are calculated based on where on the vest you are hit, dodging a dart should help you avoid getting hit in those spots.

Instructions

    • 1

Test the firing range of the guns by firing several darts from your position and measuring the distance with a measuring tape to the location where they land. You can dodge the darts by staying out of range.

    • 2

Keep your profile facing your opponent as much as possible so you are less likely to be struck in any of the point-earning zones on your vest.

    • 3

Seek cover on the playing field whenever possible to protect yourself from incoming fire.

    • 4

Move swiftly from one position to the next to minimize your exposure to enemy darts. It's harder to hit a moving target.

    • 5

Practice ducking down quickly and moving from side to side while crouching.
