Instructions
Lay out the birch plywood on the work surface.
Download a boomerang pattern from the Internet or trace the shape of an existing boomerang onto the plywood using the pencil. Cut the boomerang out with the coping saw.
Sand the blades of the boomerang into an airfoil shape. The leading edges of the boomerang should be 340 mm or 13.3 inches high. These should taper down to a mere 70 mm or 2.75 inches at the other end. An airfoil shape looks like an airplane's wing and gives the boomerang lift. The leading edges are the front left-hand edge and the inside right-hand edge.
Sand the surface smooth and finish off the boomerang with a clear lacquer coat.
