How to Make a Four-Pronged Boomerang Out of Cardboard

Making a four-pronged boomerang out of cardboard can be done with a few simple steps and only a few materials. It is a fun project to make with kids, and they actually fly when completed. By using a four-pronged boomerang template, the job can go much quicker. When the boomerang is thrown up and away from you at a 45-degree angle, it will come right back to you.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Draw a four-pronged boomerang using a template and the pencil or pen on a piece of regular paper. Cut this boomerang shape out using the scissors.

    • 2

Take the piece of cardboard from the cereal box and lay it down so the brown part is facing toward you on a flat surface. Set the paper template onto the box and trace the shape from the paper onto the cardboard.

    • 3

Cut the boomerang from the cardboard using scissors, and fold the corners of the boomerang a couple of times to curve them inward slightly up to a 30-degree angle.

    • 4

Decorate the boomerang using markers, crayons, and glitter glue to your preference. Use the boomerang outside and have fun.
