How to Anchor a Water Trampoline

Properly securing your water trampoline may mean the difference between an enjoyable, bouncy summer and an investment that floated away with the tides. Water trampolines are expensive toys that are well worth the hour or two that it takes to correctly anchor them so that they stay exactly where you want them. Anchoring your trampoline takes only a little concentration to do it right.

Instructions

    • 1

Tie the rope or bungee cords to the metal circles on the sides of the water trampoline.

    • 2

Tie the ropes to the anchor material using a strong knot. An anchor bend knot, which is a traditional boating knot, works well when wet.

    • 3

Bring your anchors and trampoline to a safe area in the water 8 to 10 feet deep and 30 feet from any docks. If you cannot swim with the anchors, bring a flotation with you to help carry them.

    • 4

Drop the anchors to where you want them and your water trampoline will be anchored.
