How to Make a Parachute Ball

A parachute ball toy can be made with a some household items and a few minutes of time. Parachute toys aren't just fun, they can also be educational. The concepts of gravity and wind resistance are explored as children play with parachutes, observing that the toy ball falls rapidly through the air at first and then slows down dramatically as the parachute opens and creates resistance.
