How to Operate a Nerf N Strike Hornet AS-6

The Nerf Hornet AS-6 Blaster is an air-powered toy pistol capable of propelling Nerf Micro Darts up to 30 feet. It can fire darts individually or in simultaneous bursts of six. It is available singly or as part of the Nerf Strike 3-in-1 Blaster, and comes packaged with six soft foam Micro Darts.

With six loading tubes, a slide forward cocking mechanism, a sliding air pump and two firing mechanisms, the Hornet AS-6 can be slightly more complicated to operate than many other Nerf products, although it fires quickly and powerfully once mastered, and clear instructions are included from the manufacturer.

Instructions

  Load the six included foam Micro Darts into the six loading tubes located on the front of the Nerf Blaster.

  Locate the cocking mechanism, situated on the top front of the Nerf Blaster.

  Grasp the cocking mechanism firmly and slide it forward in a continuous motion, then return it to its original position.

  Locate the pump handle on the bottom front of the Blaster and slide it back and forth 20 times to fill the chamber with pressurized air.

  Pull the trigger to fire darts singly, taking care to aim the Blaster in a safe direction.

  Push one of the two blast buttons located on the side of the Blaster to fire a burst of all six Micro Darts.
