How to Mod a Nerf Longstrike

Nerf foam dart shooters have been around for many years.They are hours of fun for not only kids but the adults too. Making modifications to Nerf guns is a pastime to many Nerf gun enthusiasts all over the world. By modifying your gun, you can tailor your gun to your personal specifications. But that's not all, by "moding", you can easily get twice or even triple the range of your Nerf Longstrike, compared to an un-modified one.

Things You'll Need

Drill w/ 10' bit
Philips screwdriver
Flat-head screwdriver

Instructions

  Discharge all rounds from the Longstrike, making sure to remove the clip.

  Take the flat-head screwdriver and pry off the orange cocking bolt. After a little wiggling between the cocking bold and the main frame, the cocking bolt should slide off.

  Unscrew each of the screws, using your Philips screwdriver, from the main frame of the Longstrike. Take note on the location on where all the screws belong.Then carefully separate the two halves of the main frame.

  Remove the orange bolt sled assembly from the Longstrike. Using your drill and 10'' bit, drill out the air restrictor so you can see clearly through the entire length of the chamber.
- 5
  Reassemble the gun.
