Things You'll Need
Instructions
Untie the black straps that secure the elasticized frame cover to the metal top rail of the trampoline. Lift the edge of the cover up and over the top rail and remove it from the trampoline.
Use two helpers on either side of you to pull the edge of the trampoline mat toward the metal top rail to release spring tension. Grasp the hook on one of the springs with the jaws of the spring installation tool (which came with the trampoline) and unhook it from the trampoline mat. Unhook the spring from the top rail by hand and remove it.
Move to the opposite side of the trampoline and remove another spring in the same fashion. Move half the distance between the two removed springs and repeat the process. Continue in this fashion until all springs have been removed. Note that once enough springs have been removed, using the helpers may not be necessary to release spring tension on the remaining springs. Remove the mat once all springs have been removed.
Loosen the set screws at the top of one of the trampoline leg assemblies, where they meet the top rail. Have a helper lift the top rail up slightly and slide the leg assembly off the short, protruding tubes on the underside of the top rail. Continue to remove the remaining leg assemblies from the top rail in the same manner.
Loosen the set screws that attach the top leg extensions to the bottom U-shaped leg sections. Pull the extensions off the U-shaped pieces by hand.
Loosen the set screws that hold each section of the circular top rail to the next section with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the sections apart by hand.
