Trampoline Enclosure Installation

While trampolines enable kids to have fun while exercising, irresponsible use can lead to serious injuries. To protect against falls, manufacturers have designed a custom safety enclosure for giant trampolines. Often constructed with mesh walls, the safety enclosure allows kids to jump on the trampoline without the threat of falling off the edge. The safety enclosure of the trampoline is often equipped with a Velcro door flap that allows kids to easily enter and exit.

Instructions

    • 1

Organize the poles and foam of the safety enclosure into piles on the ground. Place the upper poles, lower poles, long foam and short foam pieces into four individual piles. Insert the tops of the lower poles into the bottoms of the upper poles.

    • 2

Place a long foam piece over the top of the newly connected poles. Push the long foam piece to the base of the pole. Slide a short foam piece over the top of the pole.

    • 3

Insert each pole into a pole sleeve. Push the foam up into the sleeve from the base of the pole. Fasten a ball-ended cap onto the top of each pole.

    • 4

Stand the poles adjacent to the legs of the trampoline. Wrap a U bolt around the pole and the trampoline leg. Install a clamp over the U bolt.

    • 5

Place a washer over each end of the clamp. Tighten a nut over each washer using an appropriately-sized socket wrench. Install two U bolts onto the trampoline frame on either side of the leg and pole.

    • 6

Align two horizontal clamps over the ends of the U bolts. Place one washer over each side of the U bolts. Tighten a nut over each of the washers using an appropriately-sized socket wrench.

    • 7

Unroll the net on top of the trampoline. Erect a ladder beside one of the poles. Place the net's loop over the ball-ended cap of the pole.

    • 8

Wrap the net around the poles of the safety enclosure. Insert the top of the net into the notches of the ball-ended caps. Tie the net to one of the poles using the provided safety strap.
