Mini Marshmallow Shooter Instructions

A marshmallow shooter is a gun made of PVC pipe. Marshmallows are dropped into the top of the gun, and then blown out the other end up to 20 feet away. Mini marshmallow shooters are perfect for any party and they're easy and fun for kids to make and use. Purchase plenty of marshmallows for eating as well as shooting. Making a mini marshmallow shooter takes less than one hour.

  • ¼ inch diameter PVC pipe
  • 2 PVC elbows for ¼ inch pipe
  • 2 PVC T's for ¼ inch pipe

Instructions

    • 1

Use the pipe cutter to cut four 3-inch segments, two 5-inch segments, and one 7-inch segment. Cut the PVC pipe away from your hands and body. This step should be completed by a responsible adult. Have someone hold the pipe while you cut to reduce movement of the pipe.

    • 2

Connect one cap to a 3-inch PVC segment and add an elbow to the other end by simply inserting one into the other. Connect a 5-inch piece to the elbow, and then connect a T. This creates the back and handle of the gun.

    • 3

Connect another 3-inch piece to the T. Connect another elbow to the 3-inch piece that points back towards the handle, and then connect another 3-inch piece. You've just created the mouthpiece and tube that you will load marshmallows into.

    • 4

Connect another 5-inch piece to the middle T. Connect the last 3-inch T piece pointing downwards, and then a cap. This is the forward handle.

    • 5

Finish the end of the shooter by adding the 7-inch piece to the last T. This forms the barrel of the gun. Push all PVC segments together firmly until they fit snug.

    • 6

Decorate shooter with paint, stickers or markers. Spray painting is an easy way to brighten up plain PVC pipes with fun fluorescent or camouflage designs. Load mini marshmallows into top and blow through same opening to shoot them.
