How to Customize a Nerf Blaster

A Nerf Blaster lets you have the fun of a play war without the danger of some other toy gun products. The soft-tipped darts let you take accurate aim and "strike" your opponent without injuring him. Nerf Blasters are also available in water gun versions that let you spray down your opponents with water or other liquids. If you have an armory of Nerf weapons between you and your friends, you might decide to customize your Nerf Blaster to help you distinguish yours from those of your friends.

Things You'll Need

Acrylic paint
Paint brushes
Permanent markers
Stickers

Instructions

  Paint the exterior of the Nerf gun with the colors of your team or with your favorite colors. Be careful that you do not paint any moving parts as the paint may prevent them from working properly once it is dry. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly before moving to the next step.

  Use permanent markers to add detail to the blaster gun. Write your name on the stock and on the side shaft of your darts. When the game is over, you'll be able to distinguish whose darts are whose.

  Add stickers or decals to decorate the blaster gun. Do not cover any moving parts with stickers or decals and do not add any to the darts themselves or they may not fly properly.
