How to Assemble an Airzone Trampoline

A trampoline consists of a fabric or vinyl jumping mat that is stretched taut and connected to a metal framework with several springs. A trampoline can be a fun way to expel some energy, or it can be used as part of your family’s exercise regimen. Airzone trampolines come in 8-, 12-, and 14-foot sizes and are distributed by Eskimo Leisure, a company that specializes in outdoor equipment.

Instructions

    • 1

Lay out the 10 curved top rails, which when assembled will create a circular framework. Push two pieces of the top rail together until they are fully seated. Align the mounting holes in each piece and secure them with a set screw turned with a Philips screwdriver. Continue adding and securing top rail pieces in the same fashion. Have a helper or two handy to assist in holding the pieces while you tighten the set screws. Push the last two pieces of the circular framework together and secure with a set screw.

    • 2

Lay out a large U-shaped leg and two straight leg extensions on the ground. Push the extensions onto each leg of the "U" piece until fully seated. Secure the extensions with a set screw tightened with a Philips screwdriver. Repeat this procedure for the five remaining U-shaped legs and leg extensions.

    • 3

Have helpers hold up one side of the circular frame. Slide one of the completed U-shaped legs into the protruding mounting lugs on the lower side of the frame until fully seated. Secure both legs of the "U" to the lugs with set screws tightened with a Philips screwdriver. Repeat until all six U-shaped legs have been installed on the circular framework.

Unfold and spread out the jumping mat on the ground within the completed framework. Connect a spring to one of the eye hooks in the mat. Hook the other end of the spring to one of the holes in the top of the framework. Attach the mat to the framework on the opposite side in the same fashion. Attach two more springs, directly opposite one another, within half the distance of the first two springs installed. There should be four springs installed in equal distance from each other.

    • 5

Continue installing springs from the mat to the framework in the same fashion. Make sure you install springs at half the distance from the already installed springs, as this will keep equal tension on the mat during installation. Continue until all springs have been installed.

    • 6

Stretch the elastic frame cover around the perimeter of the trampoline so the frame and springs are covered. Secure the cover to the framework with the straps provided.
