Founded in 1946 by Irving and Sydney Franklin, Franklin Sports focused on producing youth sporting products, according to the company&'s website, franklinsports.com. It now creates a variety of products for sports such as baseball, soccer, and street hockey. Additionally, the company now produces lines of indoor sporting goods and yard games in addition to their other sports lines.
  1. Volleyball

    • Franklin Sports offers eight different types of volleyball games. These range from a basic consumer "recreational" set to an advanced heavy-duty "elite" set. All of the sets come with everything you need to set up the volleyball net itself, as well as a carrying case. In addition, many of the sets will come with a ball, but the air pump will not be provided.

    Badminton

    • The company currently offers six badminton sets for outdoor recreation. The badminton sets run from the basic "recreational" sets to a heavier duty "elite" version. All of the sets come with two to four badminton rackets, two to three shuttlecocks, a carrying case, and everything you need to set up the net.

    Tetherball

    • Franklin Sports offers four versions of Tetherball. These range from the "recreational" level to the "advanced" level. All of the sets come with the post and string, a tether ball, a carrying case, and a ball pump with a needle. You may need additional tools to bury the post in the ground such as a shovel.

    Bocce

    • Franklin Sports offers a wide variety of Bocce sets. These range from basic "recreational" sets to the "advanced" and "expert" levels. All of the sets come with eight bocce balls, a jack (the white ball you roll the bocce balls at), and a carrying case. In addition, game instructions will be provided. The balls themselves differ in the materials they are made from, such as plastic and metal.

    Horseshoes

    • Franklin Sports offers five varieties of horseshoes. All of the sets come with two stakes (what you toss the horseshoes at), four horseshoes, instructions, and a carrying case. The sets range from basic "recreational" to "elite" versions. The sets differ in the material the objects are made out of such as plastic or sturdier metal. Additionally, some sets come with a hammer to nail the stakes in the ground.

    Croquet

    • Franklin offers six varieties of croquet. They contain four to six wooden or plastic mallets, four to six croquet balls, nine wickets, two stakes, and a carrying case. The wickets can be tournament grade steel, metal wire, or plastic. Additionally, the more advanced sets have higher quality finished stakes and mallets.
