How to Fold Up a Play Hut Screenhouse

Many kids absolutely love the adorable Play Hut screenhouses, but anyone who has tried to close one and failed knows just how difficult these adorable play structures can be to fold. If the Play Hut instructions to close the structure are not followed, it will not stay folded. Specific movements and folds are required to get the Play Hut folded and back into the bag.

Instructions

- 1
  Push right front corner of Play Hut screenhouse into back left corner. This will make the screenhouse look like an open book.

  Grab hold of both sides of the screenhouse with one side in each hand and fold them together--similar to closing an open book.

  Lay the flattened Play Hut screenhouse on the ground.

  Stand at the foot of the screenhouse. Walk over the screenhouse to the top of it. Grab hold of the roof and pull it back to the foot of the screenhouse. Place the roof beneath your feet.

  Locate the loops created by folding the roof to the bottom of the screenhouse.

  Grab the top of the left loop with your left hand and the top of right loop with your right hand.

  Bring the left loop and right loop toward the middle at the same time. You want to push them together so they overlap. It will not matter which side is on top.

  Hold the overlapped loops with one hand.

  Grasp in your free hand the roof that you were standing on and push it away from you and under the loops you are holding.

  Push the hand holding the loops down as though closing a clam shell.

  Push the two smaller circles together to make a large circle. Place into Play Hut screenhouse bag.
