Things You'll Need
Instructions
Write down the specific ways you plan to use the Radio Flyer wagon to understand which options are most important. Include detailed information like the ages and weights of possible riders and the environments you will use the wagon in.
Research the wagon types that Radio Flyer is currently making by visiting their website. Each wagon has a full description of its materials, wheel type, capacity, weight and special features. Record the names of the wagon models that meet your needs. See the link in Resources to check out the pictures and descriptions.
Visit a few Radio Flyer retailers like Toys r Us or Target with your list of viable wagon options to evaluate the models they have in stock. Bring any proposed children riders with you so they can climb in and out to find a favorite design.
Pull and lift the wagon in the store if possible to evaluate the weight, the way it rolls and the comfort of the handle. Plastic wagons are usually about 10 lb. lighter than the metal varieties.
