Things You'll Need
Instructions
Dismantle the water gun to remove the broken pipe. Before you dismantle the gun, make careful note of how it's assembled so that you can easily re-assemble the gun after replacing the broken pipe.
Cut the new length of pipe to fit inside the water tank of the the water gun. The pipe should easily insert inside the water gun. Simply cut off the excess length of the PVC pipe. Use sandpaper to smooth the rough edges from the cut end of the PVC pipe.
Spread epoxy on the outside of the pipe to secure the pipe inside the water gun. Allow some time for the epoxy to dry. If you used overnight epoxy, then let the epoxy dry overnight and set. Be sure the epoxy has dried thoroughly before you fill the gun with water.
Fill the gun with water. Test for any leaks in the pipe. Reassemble the water gun if there are no leaks in the pipe. Leaks at this point are usually small and are the result of miscellaneous connections not being properly tightened. Tighten all the connections as snugly as you can, and test again before final re-assembly.
