How to Make PVC Sprinkler Toys

Instructions

    • 1

Measure and cut the PVC pipe into four 1-foot sections.

    • 2

Create a square out of the four sections. Use the elbow connectors to connect three of the sides and the 3-way connector to connect the forth side. Use PVC cement to seal the connectors and the pipe.

    • 3

Coat the inside of the open end of the 3-way connector with PVC cement and insert the garden hose connector. Allow the cement to dry completely.

    • 4

Drill holes sporadically throughout the top of the PVC square. Drilling holes in the bottom of the square, ruins the toy.

    • 5

Use a 1/16- or 1/8-inch drill bit to drill the holes. The smaller the holes, the better the effect.

    • 6

Attach the garden hose to the connector once the cement is completely dry.

    • 7

Turn the water on. Check for leaks around the connectors. If there is a leak, dry the area around the leak and apply more cement. Let it dry completely. Repeat until all leaks are sealed.
