How to Make the Fireplace Light Up on a Barbie Dreamhouse

The Mattel Barbie Pink 3-Story Dream Townhouse has a fireplace on the second floor that lights up and makes a crackling fire noise. This feature may add to the enjoyment during playtime for children who want to play with their Barbie dolls in the Barbie Dreamhouse. You will just need to make sure that you use the correct batteries to give the house power to light the fireplace and make it crackle.

  Insert three AA batteries in the battery compartment on the second floor of the Barbie Dreamhouse. These are the batteries that will power every electric item in the house.

  Push the fireplace into the wall to make sure it has been securely attached to the electrical connection. The fireplace piece has to be flush against the house wall in order to work properly.
- 3
  Push in the button on the left side of the fireplace mantle to activate the fireplace. This will make it light up and produce a cracking fire noise.
