Baby Barbie Games

Barbie is a toy icon invented by Ruth Handler and named after her daughter Barbara. The doll is now more than 40 years old as of 2010. Although she has remained a constant, the occupations she has held through costumes and accessories have changed through the years. Barbie is now sold in the role of a baby doctor with at least one baby doll included in the set. Girls who want to play with Barbie and babies will enjoy this incarnation.

Baby Doctor
- One of Barbie's newest occupations is as a Newborn Baby Doctor. Several sets offer Barbie in a doctor's uniform with a stethoscope, along with several doll babies with baby bottles, rattles and a rocking chair. Children can play with Barbie in the role of both professional doctor and nurturing mother as she checks the baby dolls' health and also tends to them.
Newborn Baby
- Barbie is now sold in a packaged set with a newborn baby doll. Included in the set is a rocking chair, changing table and entertaining mobile for baby. Girls can play with Barbie by putting her in the role of caring for her newborn or play with her offspring independently. Girls learn nurturing skills and use their imaginations through such play.
Babysit Krissy
- To play with an online baby, girls can go to Barbie's home Web site for the experience of babysitting virtual baby Krissy. Type in your name and then perform whatever task is asked. It could be giving baby Krissy a bath, playing with her at the playground or entertaining her at the beach. After completing each task, you'll receive a virtual certificate asserting you are an official Barbie babysitter.

Barbie
