Remove the horn button by removing the two holding screws on the face of the button with a Phillips screwdriver turned in a counterclockwise direction. Pry the cap up with a flat blade screwdriver if necessary. Place the cap and screws aside for later use.
Locate the steering shaft near the base of the floor of your Barbie Jeep. Pull up on the steering shaft to release the pressure on the holding pin in the center of the steering wheel.
Remove the steering wheel holding pin by sliding it out of its hole in the steering shaft. Place the pin aside.
Pull the steering wheel off of the steering shaft.
Place the new steering wheel onto the steering shaft with the tab on the base of the wheel facing upward. Hold down on the wheel with one hand while pulling up on the steering shaft with the other. Slide the steering wheel holding pin into the hole in the steering shaft. Pull the steering shaft down until the holding pit fits in the recess on the steering wheel. Release the steering shaft.
Press the horn button into place and turn in the holding screws with a Phillips screwdriver in a clockwise direction.
Lift up on the steering wheel to make sure it is secured properly to the steering shaft.
