Instructions

  1. Straw Bubble Wand

    • 1

Cut a loop of string about 24 inches long.

    • 2

Insert the string into a plastic drinking straw and tie the ends of the string together.

    • 3

Dip the wand into the bubble solution so that it creates a film that covers the loop of string. Blow gently on this film to make bubbles.

    Dowel Bubble Wand

    • 4

Cut a 36- to 48-inch piece of string.

    • 5

Hot glue the end of the string to the end of your dowel. Wrap the string around the end before gluing it to provide extra hold.

    • 6

Loop a washer or key ring onto the string, letting it dangle down.

    • 7

Loop another ring or washer onto the dowel itself. Tie the other end of the string onto that loop.

    • 8

Attach the end cap or bead to the end of the washer so that the loop won't slide off. If you don't have a bead, you can attach a short nail to stop the string from coming off the end.
