Years & Styles of the Schwinn Sierra

The Schwinn Sierra model bicycle has been made since the mid-1970s. These bicycles have long been known for their durability, as well as having a lower price tag than many other bicycles with a great reputation. The Schwinn Sierra is still made today, with several different models from which to choose.

Sierra GSL
- The Sierra GSL is manufactured with comfort in mind for those who ride daily. It can be purchased in both men's and women's designs. This bicycle offers a comfort padded seat and grips, and suspension in the seat for the most comfortable ride available. Sierra Tandem
- The Sierra Tandem was last made in 2009. This bicycle is categorized as a comfort bike and seats two people. It features the Schwinn N'litened gold label aluminum frame to make it lightweight. It also offers 24 different speed settings.
Sierra 7
- The Sierra 7 comes in models for both men and women. This bike is ideal for those seeking a bicycle for an occasional ride. The Sierra 7 performs well on both gravel and pavement. It boast a seven-speed drive train with SRAM twist shifter and Shimano rear derailleur. The Sierra 7 incorporates ProMax linear pull brakes on both the front and rear wheels.
Sierra GS
- The Sierra GS is available in both a men's and a women's version. It functions well on both gravel and pavement and is ideal for those who will use it frequently. The Sierra GS is made of lightweight aluminum and offers riders 21 different speed settings. Suspension, comfort grip handles, and a comfort-fitted seat makes it a good choice for long-term riders.
