How to Repair a Razor Ripstik

The Razor Ripstik is a unique skateboard combination that many have come to love. This skateboard combines the excitement of skateboarding and snowboarding. It gives risk-rewarding twist-and-turn action. One problem: The wheel guard on the Razor Ripstik can become bent and cause the wheel to not turn properly. You can fix this easily by removing the wheel guard. Then you're good to go for more.

  • two washers
  • two hex keys

Instructions

    • 1

      Unscrew the axle and wheel guard using two hex keys. Once you unscrew them, remove them from the wheel base.

      Install the two washers on one end of axle.

      Feed the axle through one end of the wheel base. Place the spacer on the other end of the open axle. The spacer is a small silver bolt used to take up the space between wheel and base.

      Place the wheel back onto the axle followed by the second spacer. Use the hex key as a guide to help keep everything aligned correctly.

      Screw the bolts back onto the end of the axle and spin the wheel to make sure it moves correctly.
