Things You'll Need
Instructions
Wipe away any dirt that is on the rear shock with a damp rag. Pay special attention to the two bolts that attach the shock to the bike to make sure those are clean.
Unscrew the lower bolt that attaches the shock to the bike frame. Don't detach the bolt completely.
Remove the lower bolt. Make sure that you hold the bike tight because the shock is under pressure and it might damage the bicycle frame.
Unscrew the upper bolt. Remove the shock from the bike.
Keep the bolts, nuts and spacers of the shock in a safe place so you can use them again when you put back the shock. Set them aside in separate groups so you won't be confused when you put them back.
