Things You'll Need
Instructions
Find the bolts that attach the rear wheel of the bike to the frame. Use a crescent wrench to unscrew one of the bolts.
Take one of the training wheels and look for a hole at the end of the long metal piece attached to the wheel. Slide this hole over where you just removed the bolt.
Insert the bolt through the hole and back into the bike wheel. Screw it down tightly to hold the training wheel on.
Repeat this procedure for the other side to attach the second training wheel. Make sure both bolts are tight.
Adjust the training wheels so that they are slightly above where the back wheel of the bike touches the ground. The two training wheels should be even with each other, but all three wheels should not touch the ground at the same time. This is because the training wheels are there to catch the child when they start to lean too far to one side, not for them to ride on constantly.
