How to Make a LEGO WW2 Airborne Trooper

Airborne Troopers first served in the United States Military during the Allied campaigns of World War II. While the LEGO company does not specifically make Airborne Trooper minifigures, it is easy to create your own Airborne Trooper by buying the individual parts from an online store. The American Airborne Trooper of World War II was outfitted in a khaki brown colored uniform, an M1C Paratrooper helmet, an M1A1 semi-automatic carbine rifle and an M3 combat knife.

Instructions

    • 1

Acquire the parts necessary for your WW2 Airborne Trooper by visiting the online minifigures store, FireStar Toys. Purchase any torso and legs wearing a brown uniform. The "COBI Brown Army Jacket with Ammo" torso is a good choice. Purchase the green LEGO army helmet to replicate the MC1 Paratrooper helmet, any LEGO head, a LEGO combat knife, and the Brickarms M1 Carbine.

    • 2

Attach the legs to the torso by inserting the top of the legs into the empty slots at the bottom of the torso.

    • 3

Attach the head onto the torso by sticking it onto the short rod or "neck" of the torso. This should fit securely yet still be able to swivel about.

    • 4

Fasten the army helmet onto the head. This should "click" into place on the small knob on top of the head.

    • 5

Place the M1 Carbine into the right hand of the Airborne Trooper. Now place the combat knife in the left hand. These should snap and lock into place.
