How to Package One Mighty Beanz for Shipping

Mighty Beanz are oval-shaped collectible marbles that are 1 inch long. Mighty Beanz, which originated in Australia in 2002, come decorated with a wide variety of characters, including Marvel superheroes, the Simpsons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Elvis. Because Mighty Beanz are so little, they are a challenge to mail by themselves. They can be easily lost en route and since they're made from plastic, they may also arrive damaged.

Things You'll Need

Mighty Beanz
1 1/2-inch by 1 1/2-inch box
Clear plastic tape
1 cup Popcorn foam
6-inch by 10-inch bubble envelope
Postage

Instructions

  Place the Mighty Beanz into a protective box. The box should measure 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches and be made from a strong cardboard, like the ones at jewelry stores. Tape the box closed.

  Pour half of the peanut foam pieces into the bubble envelope and place the box inside. Pour the other half of the peanuts over the box. Hold the envelope closed and shake it to see if the box sits securely without moving. Add more peanuts if necessary. Tear off the adhesive strip on the flap of the envelope and close. Add a piece of tape along the opening to reinforce the seal.

  Fill out the the sender's name and return address on the bubble envelope in the top left corner. Fill out the recipient's name and address in the center of the envelope and double check for any necessary corrections. Affix postage on the top right corner of the envelope and place in the mail box or drop off at the post office for shipping.
