How to Personalize Happy Birthday Elmo B5312

Sesame Street's Elmo is one of the most well-known and beloved fictional characters. Modeled after a 3-year-old, he is bright and funny and can be an instant friend to the children that love him. You can take your child's love of Elmo to the next level by personalizing the Happy Birthday Elmo doll to say her name. Follow the simple instructions included in the box with the Elmo doll to download your child's name from the provided list.

Instructions

  Put the "Happy Birthday Elmo" CD into your computer and download the software. An icon for the software will appear on your desktop when the download is complete. Note that only common names are included on the CD. For additional uncommon names, download your child's name from the Fisher Price website.

  Visit the "Elmo Knows Your Name" page on the Fisher Price website to select and download your child's name if uncommon. Click on the "Download New Names" button. Select your child's name from the list and push "Download Name." Change the filename to "User 1" and save it in the "Fisher Price -- Elmo Knows Your Name" file in the "Program Files" folder on your computer's C Drive. Remember, this step is only necessary if your child has an uncommon name.

  Find the USB cord in the "Happy Birthday Elmo" package. Plug one end into your computer and the other into the Elmo doll.

  Click on the "Happy Birthday Elmo" icon on your desktop to open the software. Select "Continue" to get to the "Personalize" menu.

  Find the "Select Name" window. Look through the list and select your child's name or User 1.

  Click on the "Download to Elmo" button.

  Once the download is complete, remove the USB cord from the "Happy Birthday Elmo" doll and your computer. Take the CD out of your computer and put it, and the USB cord, back in the box.
