How to Turn Off a Hasbro Count Dooku Lightsaber

A Hasbro Count Dooku lightsaber is a child's toy made to resemble the lightsaber used by the character Count Dooku in "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones" and "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith." When turned on, the blade illuminates to resemble the light-based energy found on the lightsabers in the films. Turning the toy off will turn this light off, and also save energy in the unit's AA batteries.

     Locate the red "Power" switch on the base of the Count Dooku lightsaber. Because the lightsaber is on, the switch will be in the "Up" or "On" position.

     Use your finger to push down on the power switch, turning off the lightsaber.

     Confirm that the lightsaber is off by moving it quickly with your hand. If the motion-controlled sound effects don't play, the lightsaber is off.
