Lego Destroyer Droid Building Instructions

"Star Wars" is a very popular theme among Lego collectors. There are hundreds of different Lego creations you can make based on "Star Wars" characters. Destroyer droids are one of the simplest "Star Wars" figures you can make out of Legos. In fact, Destroyer droids are so easy to make, you don't even need the official (and expensive) Lego construction kit to make them. You can make your own Destroyer droid out of regular Lego pieces you already have lying around the house, and it will be just as good as any droid out of a kit.

Things You'll Need

  • 3 square Lego peg pieces with openings in the center of each peg
  • 1 small, cylinder-shaped Lego piece
  • 2 Lego leg pieces
  • 2 Lego arm pieces
  • 2 Lego binocular pieces

Instructions

    • 1

Attach Lego leg pieces to either side of one of the square peg pieces.

    • 2

Attach one of the remaining two peg pieces to the top of the other remaining peg piece to form a column, then attach this column to the top of the peg piece that has the legs attached to it.

    • 3

Attach the cylinder piece to the front of the top peg piece, with the cylinder pointing outward so it is parallel to the ground. This will give it the appearance of the eye of the droid.

    • 4

Attach the arm pieces to either side of the middle peg piece.

    • 5

Place one binocular piece at the end of each arm piece. This gives the droid the imposing appearance of carrying laser blasters -- a must for any "Star Wars" battle droid.
