How to Make a Bakugan Holder

Bakugans are small, collectible toys that are used to play a game with others who also collect Bakugans. The toys are spheres that range from 1 inch to 3 inch in diameter when fully closed. They work sort of like Transformers that open up to reveal a creature. The diminutive size of the Bakugans makes them difficult to organize without storage that is separate from other toys; they easily become lost in toy boxes. You can create your own custom storage container for your Bakugans, though, with materials around the house.

Things You'll Need

  • Empty egg cartons (1 for every 12 Bakugans)
  • Scissors
  • Craft paints
  • Hot glue gun
  • Plastic tote

Instructions

    • 1

Cut the lid off of an empty egg carton, and trim excess cardboard from around the sides with scissors.

    • 2

Paint the egg cartons any color you like, or leave them plain. This is a fun step for kids, so consider allowing them to paint their own.

    • 3

Open your plastic tote and lay the egg carton inside. Decide if the egg carton will fit the way it is, or if it will need to be cut.

    • 4

Cut the egg carton, if necessary, between the egg indents.

    • 5

Apply a bead of hot glue along the inside of the plastic tote and press the egg carton into place firmly. Leave at least enough room in the plastic tote for a larger Bakugan to sit without the egg carton in the way (about 2-by-2-inches is fine).

    • 6

Place your smaller Bakugans into the egg indents, and the larger ones in the spaces alongside the egg cartons.
