Things You'll Need
Instructions
Start by folding the bandana you plan to wear in half diagonally. This will form a triangle.
Hold both ends of the bandana in your hands, and pull it up to your head. Rest it above your forehead at the hair line, with the middle point pointing back behind your head.
Pull both ends behind your head and tie it. You may want to double knot it for more sturdiness. Tuck the middle triangular part down below the knot, and adjust the front so it is comfortable.
Bandana Headband
Wear your bandana like a headband for a fashionable look. Start by folding the bandana into a triangular shape.
Take the pointed tip and proceed to fold the bandana about one inch in at a time, over and over towards the long edge on the bottom. Smooth the bandana as flat as you can so that it rests easier on your head.
Pull the headband underneath your hair up towards the top of your head. Tie the top into a bow at the very top, and pull your hair around it.
For a variation of this type of bandana style, tie the bandana underneath your hair, at the nape of the neck.
Bandana Headband #2
Follow Steps 1 and 2 in Section 2 to fold a bandana into a headband. As a recap, you will want to start with a triangular shape, folded over itself until it is a smooth long rectangle.
Take the two ends and wrap them around your head, right at the forehead.
Tie the bandana in the back in a double knot, securely.
