Hair Clips
Accessorize an outfit with a fabric yo-yo hair clip. Fabric from a homemade outfit can be used for the clip, or simply find a scrap of fabric in a complementary color. Stack several yo-yos with the smallest at the top, cascading to the largest at the bottom. Stitch them together at the center and tie them onto a hair clip with thread. Sew a button or several beads in the center of the yo-yos.
Toss Pillows
Toss pillows are meant to pick up or complement a color scheme in a room. Add a splash of color to a toss pillow by stitching several yo-yos to the upper corner of a pillow. One large yo-yo in the color of the pillow will add texture to the look of the pillow. Several yo-yos of various sizes and colors grouped together will add both texture and color appeal. Make several fabric yo-yos, set them in an appealing arrangement on a toss pillow and stitch them in place.
Jewelry Embellishments
Add new life to an out-dated beaded necklace in your jewelry box. Make a few small yo-yos in a color similar to the beads on a necklace or bracelet. Stitch the center of the yo-yos tightly to the string of the jewelry. The yo-yos can be clustered together on one side of the necklace or grouped together in the center of the bracelet. Optionally, add a complementary bead to the center of each fabric yo-yo.
Shirt Corsage
Purchase a cheap T-shirt and make it something special by adding a yo-yo corsage. Stitch a few small yo-yos in a color similar to the shirt or a complimentary color to really stand out. Group the yo-yos in the upper-left corner of the T-shirt. Stitch each in place with three small beads in the center of each yo-yo.
