How to Build an Imaginext Fire Station

Imaginext is a line of toys for young children from the Fisher-Price company. Among its many toys designed to stimulate children's imaginations is the Imaginext Fire Station, recommended for ages 3 to 8. This action-oriented set comes mostly assembled, but there are some things parents need to put together so the children get the most out of their toy.

Things You'll Need

Phillips screwdriver
3 AA batteries

Instructions

- 1
  Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the included fire truck. Unscrew the latch with a Phillips screwdriver. Insert three AA batteries.

  Prepare the heroes by sliding the fire jackets and helmets over the three firefighters. Snap their tools into their hands, including the axe, walkie-talkie and Jaws of Life. The firefighters can also work together to hold the included rescue trampoline.

  Snap the rescue winch into place on top of the station's fire escape. Mount the water cannon on top of the station's brick front.
- 4
  Add the finishing touches to the station with the included desktop computer, bunk beds and a flag that snaps on top of the building.
