How to Take Apart Wooden Cement Trucks

The Take Apart Wooden Cement Truck by Wild Wood Toys is a construction toy aimed at children over the age of 36 months or 3 years. Kids unscrew chunky wooden screws to loosen and remove the various wooden parts that make up the driver's cab, engine hood and cement mixer drum. The parents can then help their child put the toy back together or let older children complete the process themselves. Taking apart the toy is straightforward and takes less than five minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

Pull out the wooden screwdriver disguised as the cement truck's exhaust pipe. This tool helps take the truck apart.

    • 2

Use a coin to carefully loosen each of the large wooden screws on the cab and hood of the cement truck if this is the first time the toy has been taken apart. Use the screwdriver any other time.

    • 3

Pull out the screws and lift off each of the wooden blocks that make up the cab and hood. This gives access to the screw holding the cement drum together.

    • 4

Loosen the cement drum screw using the method in step 2. Take out the wooden pieces and place them with the others.

    • 5

Gather up the wooden pieces if you are storing the toy. The cement truck is now ready to be reassembled.
